Usakhelauri is an indigenous Georgian red grape variety, whose history dates back to the Middle Ages — an era when invading empires swept through Georgia. During one of these invasions, the vineyards and the local population that tended them were completely destroyed. Yet one vine miraculously survived — though its original name was lost to history.
Years later, when Georgians began to resettle the area, they were unable to identify the grape and named it “Usakhelauri,” meaning “nameless”.
Our Usakhelauri is grown in the protected micro-zone of Okureshi, in the Lechkhumi region. The vineyards sit at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level, planted on limestone and volcanic soils.
This wine is distinguished by its luminous cherry-red color, a broad spectrum of berry aromas, a distinctive mineral undertone, and bright, refreshing acidity.
Recommend to taste with fresh fruits and an assortment of desserts.

"Usakhelauri is a rare and elegant Georgian red wine, born from a centuries-old grape that embody the soul of Georgian winemaking."

White Dry
From the Kakheti region, Georgia
Its history dates back to the mid-19th century, and it was the first Georgian wine produced using classical European winemaking techniques. Until then, all wine in Georgia had been traditionally made in qvevri — clay vessels buried underground.
Alexander Chavchavadze, owner of the royal estate in Tsinandali, traveled to France and, after observing the differences between French and Georgian winemaking, was inspired to craft Georgian wine in the European style.
He invited five of the finest French winemakers to Georgia and, together with local specialists, selected the most suitable soils and grape varieties for this endeavor.
Thus, Tsinandali was born — a wine made predominantly from Rkatsiteli blended with Kakhuri Mtsvane.
Tsinandali is characterized by a light body and vibrant tropical fruit aromas, harmoniously intertwined with ripe stone fruit notes. Distinct nuances of pear, apple, peach, and wildflowers emerge beautifully on the nose. The palate is elegant, with a pleasant, lingering finish.
