Red Semi Sweet
Racha Region, Georgia
The history of Khvanchkara dates back to the 1880s, when Prince Dimitri Kipiani began producing wine from the indigenous Georgian grape varieties Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli. By allowing fermentation to stop before completion, he created an exceptional naturally semi-sweet red wine, which at the time became known as “Kipiani Wine.”
Prince Kipiani later sent the wine to Ostend, Belgium, to take part in a major European wine exhibition. To widespread surprise, Kipiani Wine was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix Gold Medal. The original trophy is now held by the Georgian National Museum.
Following the establishment of Soviet rule, the wine’s aristocratic name was changed. It was renamed Khvanchkara after the village located in the picturesque Racha region.
The vineyards are situated on the right bank of the Rioni River, at elevations ranging from 550 to 750 metres above sea level.
Khvanchkara is one of Georgia’s most celebrated naturally semi-sweet red wines. It has an elegant garnet-red colour and a harmonious balance of gentle sweetness and refreshing acidity.

Lechkhumi Region, Georgia
Usakhelauri is an indigenous Georgian red grape variety whose history dates back to the Middle Ages, a period marked by repeated invasions. During one such invasion, the vineyards and the local communities that cultivated them were completely destroyed. One vine, however, miraculously survived, although the variety’s original name was lost to history.
Years later, when Georgians began resettling the area, they were unable to identify the surviving grape variety and named it “Usakhelauri,” meaning “nameless.”
Usakhelauri is cultivated within the protected Okureshi microzone in the Lechkhumi region. The vineyards are situated at an elevation of approximately 650 metres above sea level, on limestone and volcanic soils.
The wine has a vivid cherry-red colour, a broad spectrum of berry aromas, a distinctive mineral character and lively, refreshing acidity.

White Dry
Kakheti Region, Georgia
The history of this wine dates back to the mid-19th century, when the first Georgian wine made according to classical European winemaking methods was created. Until then, Georgian wines had traditionally been produced and aged in qvevri — clay vessels buried underground.
Alexander Chavchavadze, the owner of the Tsinandali estate, was inspired by the refined style of French wines during his travels in France and decided to introduce European winemaking traditions to Georgia.
He invited five leading French winemakers to Georgia, who worked alongside local specialists to select the most suitable soils and grape varieties.
This collaboration gave rise to the legendary Tsinandali wine, made primarily from Rkatsiteli with the addition of Kakhuri Mtsvane. Light-bodied and aromatic, it offers notes of tropical and ripe stone fruits. The bouquet reveals aromas of pear, green apple, peach and wildflowers. The palate is refined and fresh, with a pleasant, lingering finish.
