This wine is a skilfully crafted blend of two outstanding red grape varieties, combined in a carefully balanced proportion. The vineyards are located in the heart of Kakheti, on the right bank of the Alazani River.
The rich and vibrant character of Saperavi is complemented by the complex and refined aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon. Both varieties have excellent ageing potential, allowing the wine to be enjoyed in its youth or after several years of careful cellaring.
In the glass, it displays a deep, dark ruby colour. The bouquet is dominated by notes of blackberry, black plum, cherry and forest berries, followed by subtle hints of black pepper and red bell pepper in the long, elegant finish.
Recommended with roasted meats and rich, hearty dishes.
