Description
This wine is produced from Saperavi grapes grown in the renowned Mukuzani microzone of Georgia’s Kakheti region. It is aged for eight months in French oak barrels, which adds depth, complexity and elegance.
Oak ageing softens Saperavi’s naturally firm tannins and reveals subtle notes of vanilla, spice and toasted oak, complementing the rich aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and dark cherry. Delicate hints of chocolate, tobacco and smoke emerge on the palate, leading to a long and refined finish.
Full-bodied and well structured, this wine presents the finest traditions of Georgian winemaking in a modern style.
Enjoy it with rich meat dishes, hearty stews or aged cheeses.
